ABBOT
Abbot is in the business of creating glucose meters for those with diabetes. In an effort to re-position the company and make them more relevant an integrated program was created. It was evident through research that those with diabetes had many questions with no one to answer them due to many socio-economic factors. A program where the question was the hero was created. The solution was to make it as easy as possible for anyone with a question to get it answered. Whether it be via the web site, email, twitter, or mobile a team of Certified Diabetes Educators would be on call. When a question is asked it is fed into the animation to represent real-time questions from potential peers.
Along with having their questions answered we developed a meal planning program that utilized the data from the glucose meter. The program would analyze the data and provide a customized Diabetes Certified meal for the week or month sponsored by Whole Foods.
To make it even easier we added the option for members to receive the ingredients in a text message to streamline the process.
For this project I was the art director and web designer.
